I have a corsair carbide 240 case and the power button lights up and so does the rest of the pc. But the usb 3.0 ports and audio jacks do not work! My motherboard is a z170m plus. I have tried using device manager etc and my pc seems to not notice a problem with them. But they seem dead as they dont register anything i put in them. I also havent got windows 10 activated yet, however i am using a free version of it as i can only not personalize stuff (dont know why this would make a difference though). I also dont see it being a hardware issue as it was a prebuilt pc, could cables really of gotten lose while being delivered?
I really need help as i have been trying all day. Thanks in advance.

Hello.

I highly suggest verifying if your cables are actually even connected for the front USB ports and audio jack. These are separate from the power button and lights. They may have become loose, or...simply have never been connected during the prebuilding.
