Right now i have a gtx 970 and a Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor 60htz. I can't upgrade both at the same time, but do one for now. I want to eventually get the gtx 1070 and not sure what monitor would work best with the 1070. Should i get a 120htz or 144htz monitor? If i do upgrade monitor first will my current gtx 970 be able to handle a 120 or 144htz? I'm think upgrade my gpu first, but then what monitor would be best to pair with the gtx 1070. I play mostly fps and mmos, but I play all types of games. what best makes sense?
