ASROCK Motherboards - how is their support

i was going with an Asus X99 mobo until i found all the issues with booting while USB devices are connected. While none of the reports are from 2016, the lack of support by Asus and a recent experience i had with an obviously lacking in knowledge Asus support tech has me looking around

The ASRock X99 board has been recommended but i can't find any reports on their support, good or bad

anyone had any experience?

not doubting your experience with ASUS, but i used to think pretty highly of ASUS till i called in about 2 months ago

all their techs now are kids working out of their home, and i doubt how much training their gettings - the guy i dealt with had no idea what he was doing

then i looked at the reviews of the asus motherboards i was interested in, both on newegg and amazon - saw an average of 3 starts, with way too many complaints about QC

i know asrock is owned by asus, but the product reviews seemed to be all 4.5 - 5 stars, so i pulled the trigger. If their support is bad, well it'll just be like ASUS
