Soo last week my old psu fried itself and took out something with it and I've spent the last hour assembilng a new PC that I'm gonna buy next week. This is what I came up with.

Case:
Cooler Master N400 NSE-400-KKN1 - 47 Euros
GPU:
MSI GEFORCE GTX1060 ARMOR OCV1 6GB GDDR5 PCIE GTX1060ARMOR6GOCV1 - 286Euros
CPU:
Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3 BK018 - 68 Euros
INTEL® CORE™ I5-6500 3.2GHZ 6MB LGA1151 BX80662I56500SR2BX - 209 Euros
PSU:
CORSAIR ATX 2.4 CX550M 550W CP-9020102-EU - 76 Euros
RAM:
2x Kingston 8GB 2400MHz DDR4 CL15 HyperX Fury DIMM HX424C15FB2/8 - 98 Euros for both
SSD:
Samsung SSD 750 EVO 250GB SATAIII MZ-750250Z - 70 Euros
HDD:
Seagate BARRACUDA 7200 1TB SATA 64MB ST1000DM003 - 50 Euros
Motherboard:
ASUS B150PROGAMING - 113 Euros
Total:
~ 1017 Euros

Soo I'm not really great at this stuff soo before I got all of the pieces I thought I'd post this here to get your thoughts about the build, is there something wrong with it, like is everything compatible or should I switch something out.

Before anything else is addressed (someone will make a build for you).

You need to understand motherboards. They come as h110, b150, h170, z170.

If you have "k" cpu, then you need to buy a z170 motherboard, because that's the motherboard that allows overclocking. H170 and b150 are the same type, just marketing is different

So could I switch it out for MSI Z170ATOMAHAWK - 126 Euros?

Honorable
Yes that is a much better chovice and not a bad board :)

(I'm surprised no one gave you a reworked build yet, I'm on my phone, kinda lazying out to go on parts picker)

Looking further into build, I think if you could upgrade that gpu from 3gb to 6gb, it'll last you much longer through the years, 3gb is already the "minimum" aim of today.

I wouldn't go for MSI tbh. Poor qc.

Look.for a Gigabyte Z170 Gaming K3, an Asus Pro Gaming or a Gigabyte Z170 UD3 instead (depending on your budget)

Apart from that the build is good.
Cpu cooler might be a bit overkill but it's silent
No idea about this case and doing research is painful on the Phone but will prb be alright

Heh, I'm not planning on overclocking, just heard people saying that it's a great CPU.

If you don't overclock then you can take i5-6500, then you can drop down on motherboard price as well. Even the i5-6500 will last you around 3-4 years of gaming.

I like the Asus motherboard suggestion above :p

Then there is no point considering a unlocked build. This is the kind of build you should be looking for. Around the same price as your but depends on your location.

Looked into some of those pieces on my distributers and the prices are 50+ euros on each part.

Definitely can. But most of the other units didnt have price tag in that region. This was just to give an estimation. Anything that is good quality and around 400w or above should do. The power requirement for this build is around 300w approx.

I'm from Latvia and looking around 1'000 euros on the build, I have the PSU bought already tho.

I actually found this thing MSI GEFORCE GTX1060 ARMOR OCV1 6GB GDDR5 PCIE GTX1060ARMOR6GOCV1 which is only 30 euros more expensive than the current one selected.

Should I just get a 6500 then? The 6500 is 40 euros cheaper than the 6600k.

These parts are just a guide. If you find similar posts, better priced, just look at the review to make sure it a good product, since you gave specific vendor this makes suggested builds difficult to achieve.

Yes you could get 6600k and a b150 motherboard. But then just see pricing on 6600 or 6500.

A'ight, so if I get a 6500, what motherboard type should I get?

I5 + gtx 1070 could be an idea (if you are saving money everywhere else, you could see pricing on 1070).

Here, I'll give you a word guide, pick your parts and post them. To review.

i5-6500/6600
20euro cooler for cpu
2x8gb ddr4 -2133mhz/2400mhz which is better priced, it will adjust speed to your motherboard automatically
Ssd240-275gb - look at a-data brand if you have
Psu 550w-650w
Case, up to you
Gpu whatever $$ have left sink in there.
Motherboard h110/b150/h170 whichever one is priced well for you, more expensive ones come with more ports possibly better sound chip, those are things to review when choosing motherboard, stick with Asus, gigabyte, other brands welcome but, need to check their quality of particular model.

the one I just listed is 15 euros cheaper than the one you posted.

Then you should go for it.

There is no point for paying for 6600 if you are not choosing the 6600k. The performance difference between the 6500 and 6600(non K) is not much considering the price difference. If you are not overclocking, the next best option to 6500 is i7-6700.

I guess i'll go with 6500 which is 209 euros, because the i7-6700 is 320 Euros.
