Hi,

My pc won't get past the ROG bios spash screen whenever my ssd is plugged in regardless of which sata cable/port is used, the ssd does however boot up normally and is usable when plugged into an old pc of mine, when the ssd is unplugged I can acess the bios or if I leave it a message will come up saying an os is not found. Unfortunatly I don't have anything else with an os on it.

The pc with the ssd was working fine last night and was shut down norrmally before I went to sleep.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Welcome to Tom's Hardware, @tropdrop!

This sounds pretty unfortunate. I'd strongly recommend you try to resolve the issue by resetting BIOS. If it doesn't help, I'd suggest you go to the motherboard/computer manufacturer's official website, find your mobo or PC model there and see if you have installed the latest SATA controller & Chipset drivers, as well as the latest BIOS version. It might also be a good idea to check your connections again and make sure there are no loose cables to the PSU as well.

Hope this helps. Good luck! :)
