Will HP 20wd monitor will support nvidia gtx 1060 6gb

I have an old monitor as given in the title and I have nvidia 625 1gb graphic card and I am willing to upgrade to the graphic card in the title but I am not sure that my monitor is compatible or not. I have to buy a psu too so I am having a restricted budget. Any help will be appreciated. Thankyou.

You will probably either need an adapter or special cable ,unless you are using the founders edition(as different board partners have different io).It is hard to say unless to see the gpu it self

I found out that the port in the graphic card is the same dual link dvi d port as in my monitor but I want to be sure about it that no further connecting to monitor problems may arise like my resolution is 1600 x 900 so it will support it right without any problems, I am new to this thing of buying graphic cards and stuff and monitor was old so... Anyways Thanks!
