Did you carefully follow the instructions in that video? It should work on a GT version GPU.

This was recorded on Shadowplay with a GT 730.

If enabling ShadowPlay isn't working, try rebooting your PC, or using this method to enable ShadowPlay. It could be GeForce Experience Update 3 is interfering.

You have very low system spec, not nearly high enough to set FPS to 60. DxTory does not lock gameplay FPS to capture FPS either, so you should set capture FPS to 30.

Here are ways you can improve performance.

1. Adjust game settings lower
2. Set output to 720p instead of 1080p.
3. Assign more than one drive to write the capture file.

Option 3 is DxTory's Distribution Writing feature, though as mentioned, you need more than one HDD. You simply assign both drives to write the capture, and choose the DxTory codec. It will then write the files to both drives simultaneously via a sort of virtual RAID using "RawCap" files. You then use the RawCapConvert tool to convert the RawCap files to AVI.

That said, you are probably better off on that spec just using Nvidia ShadowPlay. It will yield less lag, and write much smaller files. Plus it has the Shadow feature which lets you record up to 20 min of prior gameplay without trial and error recording. I use DxTory, but would definitely use Shadowplay instead if I had an Nvidia GPU.

Here's how to get ShadowPlay working on a Laptop or GT model GPU.

Try ShadowPlay first. I've done TONS of recording with DxTory, and like I said, you have to use the DxTory codec to use Distribution Writing, plus buy a 2nd HDD if you only have one, and even then, just on Low quality, the DxTory codec writes HUGE files.

It's pretty simple to get ShadowPlay running on that GPU. Have you tried it yet?

Yeah then if you followed it exactly, AND rebooted, it might be that GeForce Update 3. Let me know how uninstalling that goes.

okay i installed everything and shadowplay seems to work perfectly fine, no lags or drops. So.. THANKS ALOT MAN, ty for spending time on my problem and explaining everything of it, im really grateful. Cheers!

Cool, I think you'll like ShadowPlay. Just for the sake of others that might have this problem though, did you have to uninstall the GeForce Experience Update 3 first to get it to work?
