Chaning motherboard without reinstalling windows?

Over a year ago i bought a cyberpower pc. i've since upgraded the gpu and a few other little things. Im wanting to get a better motherboard so i can overclock but ive been poking around and i heard that you have to reinstall windows after doing this. Since the version of windows is from cyberpower, will i have to buy a whole new copy of windows or just reinstall the current version i have?

New motherboard

= yes, you probably have to purchase a new OS license. You may be able to sweet talk MS into allowing that license to be used again on new hardware, but that is totally up to them. They do not have to allow that.
