I am trying to upgrade my PC to be more modern. I play games like World of Warcraft, H1Z1 KOTK (Very RAM heavy.. consistently using 7.5/8 GB) and Rocket League. My reasoning for this upgrade is a strange beeping I hear while the computer is under heavy load. I cannot do anything during this. I assume it is due to loading or something else. I would also like to play on mid-high instead of low on WoW

Current Hardware
-i5 3570k
-GTX 660
-8 GB Ram
-Asus XTREME P6X580-E Intel x58 Chipset
-1 TB Hard drive (mostly full of old games I don't play)

Would like to keep the budget under ~$800 and not spend more than $400 on a single component.

All the best.
J.

Solution
You should upgrade your gpu #1 priority. Your cpu is still quite good.

Add extra ram, try match your current ram. Or buy new 2x8gb kit.

That's all you need man.

I would suggest you, gtx1060/rx470/rx480. Any of those will work great for you. You should be pulling ultra settings in wow with those gpu. Stay away from 1060 mini (nothing wrong with them, but the full sized cards are just better built). Don't buy powercolor Rx cards, suggest sapphire for Rx cards.

I wouldn't suggest you anything higher tier than those because, by the time you would need to upgrade gpu, you'll be building a whole new system. So really no need to dish out premium $ for a 1070. (Not sure if you understand my point) all in saying it's, get a price for performance (which will work great for your needs anyways)
