Fingerprint Sensor Failed. I would like to fix it.

Hi, Tom. Here is my problem. My fingerprint software will not work properly. I have tried almost everything to fix it with no success. I click on the icon and a message appears that reads "FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE SENSOR." How can I fix this problem?

First check the connection to the motherboard, if that does not work, you can get a replacement part of ebay for pretty much any model laptop.

You can try checking for a BIOS update, make sure you are using the correct software for your system for the fingerprint reader.
