Hi all,

After having Malware/virus on my laptop I had to use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and a few other anti-malware software.

Restarting my computer after all the scans etc. , I've come upon the following error message:

"The module 'C:/Users/../AppData/Local/Uhhmedia/wvwdukbc.dll' failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specific path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found."

Upon further investigation, I have found out that this file is being quarantined by Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for a Trojan.

Also after searching on MSconfig's startup tab, I've been able to find out that 'wvwdukbc.dll' works as a Microsoft Operating system command.

So I'm not sure what to do here.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

If you come across another one like that, run a search of your system and if it only exists in one of the AppData folders, it isn't a genuine file. MBAM will have identified it as a threat and moved it to Quarantine.

RegServer32 was only the messenger telling you the file wasn't where it should be. On this occasion, shooting the messenger did the trick.

Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion.

I just tried it and no longer get the error message. I wasn't sure whether to untick earlier it since it looked to be a system application of sorts.
Hope this is permanent and I won't encounter similar errors in the future.

Anyway thanks again for the reply!
