I made some changes. get a 6700k if you are going with a z170, theres no point for a more expensive board and a non overclockable processor

Is the 6700K faster than the 6700? Also how much more is the K version?

The 6700k inst faster but since its overclockable you can get more out of it. and the 6700k is like 15-25 dollars more than the non-k version

Well I don't plan to overclock and I want to keep my current motherboard selection because it looks pretty good.

You can keep it the way it is but just remeber youll be spending more on something that doesnt get you anywhere, and in the future when the 6700k cant take more you can overclock it later and it will give you a performance boost. My 6600k is at 4.6 from its original 3.5 and there is a noticable difference between non overclocked and overclocked
