For the past week or so, whenever I play games on my computer for about 30+ mins, the screen just goes black with the audio from the game I was playing. Its also happened while I was talking to somebody on Discord, and we could both still hear each other. It forces me to force shut down the computer via the front panel button.
I cleaned out my computer and replaced the thermal paste on the cpu. I've been monitoring my CPU and GPU temps, and they look relatively normal. Both are ranging from 40°C to 50°C. The only game that I'm playing isn't even very demanding, (Final Fantasy XIV) I'm running it on medium settings on specs I'll list below. However, although I haven't checked recently, whenever I play less demanding games, it doesn't go black.
This same scenario has happened to me around 8 times now, and I don't know what's wrong, as I'm not very computer savvy. If you guys need any more information, let me know.
Specs:
Processor - i5 4460 3.2Ghz.
GPU - NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB OC'd.
RAM - 8 GB.
PSU - I forget, but it's a corsair 600W. If the specific name is required, I will check.
