Hello, I would like to know a good list of parts to build a decent gaming pic that can run skyrim and possibly fallout 4 if that's possible. I'm going to be starting from scratch and know next to nothing of computers.
Edit: sorry about the reply being posted 2 times, my brother got ahold of my iPad. I could go up to $750 if it would give me a much better experience.

Is this budget just for the PC, or does it include monitor, and peripherals?

This is a little over max budget, but for just the PC, it is about the best you are going to get, imo.

I know both are a bit over budget. You could drop to 8gb, or ditch the optical drive, to meet budget, on the first one. Second one the optical drive could go.

skyrim is cpu bound. you will want at least a quad core. an i5-6400+gtx1050ti will outperform an i3-6100+gtx1060 in skyrim.

there are decent deals on gtx1060 6gb around, but for skyrim i wouldn't go with the 3gb version. the 4gb gtx1050ti is a great card though.
