So, I have a pretty decent i5 pc. Currently, it has a 650 TI Boost video card, which is OK for gaming on a single full HD monitor. I'm tempted to try gaming on three monitors. I can buy a GTX 1080, but the monitors that I have are all with DVI ports. They don't have displayport, while all the new cards have only multiple DPs. Can I make a triple monitor Nvidia surround with GTX 1080 and the available monitors without some expensive active DP to DVI converters?

It is only AMD cards that require you to use the DP port if you want multiple monitors, Nvidia cards have no such restriction.

You should be able to but I'm using a HDMI to DVI converter for one of my monitors and Surround won't enable.
