Hey,

3 years ago I bought a custom computer with that RAM: http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/khx16c9b1rk2_8x.pdf

Now I want to add these RAM, because the same version is not anymore on market :/
http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX316C9SRK2_8.pdf
All specs. are the same, except voltage. On never RAM is
JEDEC: DDR3-1600 CL11-11-11 @1.5V
XMP Profile #1: DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9 @1.5V

On older RAM is:
JEDEC: DDR3-1600 CL11-11-11 @1.5V
XMP Profile #1: D3-1600 CL9-9-9 @1.65V

Can I combine those two RAMs?
Or I need to lower the voltage?
I'll save 50€ for not buying 16GB RAM. I have AMX-FX 8350 4Gh/z
Help :D

Solution
First, there's no guarantees when mixing DRAM, best would be to get a full set of the full amount you want/need (and preferably 1.5, 1.65 is indicative of older DDR3 or simply weak sticks that need the extra voltage to run at the entry level data rate)
