Are you planning to play in which resolution?

The 390X can handle 1080p in High settings without problems, may suffer with Ultra settings a bit tho

But i've been reading bad reviews from Mafia 3 and Quantum Break about their optimization. So they're not performing well at even high specs machines.

Aside from both, it will work nicely in 1080p/High

I'd recommend getting the R9 390X, it's the better between those listed. That's because the 1060 there is the 3GB version and RX is expensive.
With that extra money you can maybe invest in some more RAM.

But if you wanna pay a little more, the RX 480 is a good future proof card.
You can check the pricing of a 6GB GTX 1060, if it was on that list, i'd recommend it no doubt.

Which resolution are your planning to game? Those are only for 1080p.
Above that, you'd have to get yourself a GTX 1070 or above.

Yeah...
Kinda expensive too.

The 390X offer similar performance to both, but it's almost $100 cheaper. I'd recommend getting it.
The difference in fps will be in the single digits.

Use that extra money to improve other PC parts.

Im just gonna go with 1080p and looks like r9 390x is the perfect card and im buying it,not sure it can perform well with i5 3470 but still its a quad core cpu.600W Bronze PSU is enough right?

The 390x is stronger than both the 1060 & RX 480
Its downfall is the power it requires ,& the temps it can hit.
The newer cards are far more efficient & run cooler.
As said that is a big big price difference though & the MSI gaming does gave one ifcthe best coolers around.

What PSU is it exactly ?? It needs to be a decent quality model & you need to have decent case cooling too.

Deus ex - max settings easily
Watchdogs 2 - who knows?? First one was terribly optimised.
Quantum break - steam one ultra settings easily , windows store one - maybe high (its not optimised & runs on dx12)
Gears of war (assuming 4) - high settings
Mafia - high at best & you'll still get drops to 40fps (worst optimised game I've ever played- performance is all over the place & its not even that pretty)

https://gear-up.me/psu-aerocool-kcas-600w-80-plus-bronze.html

this is my PSU

There's a spanner in the works mate, I wouldn't entertain running a 390x on that psu.

You're talking a card that can peak close to 300w & the aerocool is very low quality.

Is trust it with a 1060 & just about with a 480 but definitely not with the 390x.

Im not gonna overclock and i can set the fps limiter.By the way the card is cheaper and rest of them is kinda expensive and im really low in budget.
