What happen if only use 4gb of ram only????I'm trying to be as Budget as possible because of how expensive Pc parts here.

Solution
4gb will generally work.
That assumes you do not do lots of multitasking.
You need sufficient ram to hold most of what you need without swapping to the page file.

If you will be running a 32 bit os, you can not use more than 4gb.

If you have a 64 bit os, I would buy a 2 x4gb kit regardless.
Ram is relatively cheap; there must be a better place to save.
Post your specs and we shall see.

Also, do not plan on adding ram to whatever you start with, it may not work.

It depends heavily on which task you are planning to do with your PC.

Note that, if your current OS is 32bits, there's no point in adding more than 4GB of RAM because it won't use it.
But if it's 64bits, there's no problem in adding more RAM.

If you only use it for browsing/working that should be enough if you don't open a lot of tabs/files at the same time.
If you wanna play games, most of them won't work properly since 4GB is not even the minimum requeriment. Unfortunately.

RAM is one of the cheapest PC part, try to get at least 8GB, it will be much better than just 4GB, for sure.
