So is there a big difference on 900p (1600x900) & 1080p (1920x1080)? I'm told that the difference is not much on a 19.5 inch monitor. Compared to 720p (1366x768) blurry textures is more noticeable than 900p. As to 900p and 1080p not much.

You will adapt in no time at all to a bigger screen, trust me. A screen that is too big of course is no good either if you don't have the space to back off a little bit, but going form a 19 inch to 24 inch or so is very pleasant.

Also, if you only use the PC for gaming I wouldn't recommend an i7, since it costs a lot more than an i5, but does not make much if any difference in gaming. I would save some cash and get an i5.
It is hard to tell, since it is a matter of opinion, and also it depends heavily on the hardware that is used. Many different monitors vary enormously in quality, and it also depends on what GPU is used to provide the output. The driver also can be set to different kinds of quality. It also depends on the purpose, the difference between the resolutions on reading a text is minimal, but on gaming it can make a lot of difference.
