Okay, when I get a new computer build, I wanted to give my brother my current desktop (FX-6300). The only problem is that I want to keep it cool as possible.
I was looking around for Wraith cooler with the black top(125W), because I feel it better than the 95W one.
If I can't find one when I am looking, I might just purchase a Cooler Master Blizzard T2 Mini because I don't want a big cooler weighing on the CPU/mobo, personal preference.(Plus I don't like the height of the big coolers). Yet, if my normal AMD cooler is enough, I would like to know to avoid having to go buying.
Additional info:
1. System only pushes the CPU to 3.6Ghz(Task Manager).
2. With an HDD the highest I ever clocked was 3.8Ghz, Turbo Core off.
3. Cloning the HDD to an SSD I can't go past 3.7Ghz in Bios or it blue screens.
So, I keep it 3.6Ghz, I haven't pushed the processor and it might not have dwindled its life by much.
(My decisions above about buying what and clocking to what are non-negotiable. Also, the other panel cover on the computer has an internal metal covering the bottom of the motherboard part of the CPU and I will have to weld it off, so that is annoying to say the least, thus why I just want something I can connect on top of the mobo like the default AMD coolers, or have to pull out the entire mobo the long way.)
