Hey Guys,

Been trying to figure this one out but Iam not to familiar with networking. My modem is a Arris from Timewarner, I have it set to Routed with NAT. It is in my office so my computer is wired to the modem and internet is great. I ran a wire to the middle of the house with a router (linksys) to provide the family with wireless and other wired options.

The problem is my main computer cant see anything on the network as if its all alone. Everything is enabled and if I plug another computer into the modem I can see it just fine. Did I mess something up in the configuration to put up a wall blocking me from accessing the other computers?

Solution
You should set up your Linksys as a repeater (disable DHCP, connect Linksys' LAN port to the modem), or move yourself behind the rooter.

The reason: The way you set it up, devices behind treat you as "on the Internet" - in the same way as I cannot see your PC behind the modem' NAT.
