So my windows 10 failed and got into an automatic repair loop and is not letting me reset it or anything, so I cleared up some space on my hard drive to get Ubuntu as a temporary Os and to salvage some files.
So my question is, how do I completely reformat and delete everything on my my 1 TB wdblue so I can reinstall windows 10.

Solution
Download any of the USB bootable tools. For example, http://gparted.org/livecd.php there are others.

Delete all partitions on your WD.

Do not create any partitions, windows install will do that correctly if you get rid of the old partitions.

Aside: if you were ever thinking of installing an SSD, the combination of Black Friday sales and your need to start from scratch says this is the right time. Assume good Samsung EVO 256 GB drive is $75 to $85, and 500GB is twice that.
