A friend of mine bought a RX 480 8GB for his computer, and after awhile (3 weeks) it has started to white screen. He asked his brother to Overclock it and then this started happening. I was told they reset the Clock, but it continues to white screen. I am borrowing it from him to see what Is wrong, but when I put it into one of my PC's it white screened also.

The Computer will boot and run fine for a minute or two, but as soon as you try to start an application it will white screen. He used MSI Afterburner to Overclock the card, but I am not sure if he could have pushed to much power to the card and killed it. If anyone has any idea of what to do that would be great. We are both running Windows 10.

Hey, I know this reply is a bit late but I highly recommend, if you can, rolling back to previous drivers by using DDU to get rid of the current driver. If that doesn't work, roll-back W10 from AE to the previous build. If that doesn't work, go back to Win 8 or 7. I had this issue and can confirm that my 480 (Sapphire as well) has not crashed since while gaming on Win 7. You pick your poison unfortunately. Stay on Win10 and stick with DX12 or go back to previous OS versions and lose that DX12 support.

Don't know what the solution is for W10 but mine was to stay on 7. Weird that I have to go back to 2009 to play games today. Oh boy...
