Hi guys, first post!
I have a 6700k, oc to 4.5ghz at about 1.325v [is that considered good minimum stable volage??]

Its cooled (not so much heh) by the Arctic cooling I32 - reaching ~87c on RealBench (room @ ~25c)

I tried adding another F12 fan- it only added a coil whine! (wtf arctic..)

Anyways- I'm considering replacing it with the Phanteks PH-TC12DX
Is it a worthy upgrade or I should aim higher if I want a sub-80c 4.5-4.7 GHz overclock?
Thanks!

My case is an nzxt s340
14x2 SS fq141 front intakes.
Stock 2x120 exhausts.
Temps dont drop when window panel is removed.

Thank you!

The 212 evo is about on par with what I have and its not good enough.
The cryorig is extremely expensive to get shipped to my country.
And the phateks 14 won't fit its too tall

I'm using a Phanteks PH TC14PE and my 6700K at 4.6ghz and 1.35v will only barely break 70C when running Prime small FFTs and Intel Burn Test at the same time. The PH TC12 is also a good cooler but the TC 14PE stands with the Noctua D14 and 15 as the best air coolers on the market. The TC14 PE comes in colors too.

Just noticed this and it seems you are correct. The Noctua NH D14 fits though apparently.

Ah there's a picture of it with a D15 so it fits as well.

Noctua won't cut it... wayyy to ugly ;)
But I've seen reviews that the phanteks 14 is only 1-2c better then the 12's so that's good..
How's the cryorig h5 vs the phanteks? Better or worse?

More like 7C better than the 12 but the 12 is still a good cooler.

Based on this review at X-bit labs I also used Corsair AF fans on my TC14 PE. Those fans make the already excellent Phanteks the best air cooler they had ever tested. Even with stock fans it's still up there with the D15.

That's weird
A. I don't understand why he chose the AF over the SP fans, as the SP fans are designed for heatsinks much more then the AF's
And B. Maybe I should replace my current cooler fan (arctic f12) with an SP120 and be done with it? I'm not sure if it will make the drastic change I'm looking looking for though.
