Samsung 850 evo 1tb Not registering?

I've freshly inserted the SSD into my PC but it does not show up under my computer, Hard Disk Drives. But if i look in my device manager it is showing up there. it says the driver is from back in 2006? and location 0 ( channel 4) and this device is working properly?

What is the problem and what do i need to do?
Do i need to put my disc that came with my SSD into the PC to update it? Or do i update the driver through device manager? or is it not working? Or have i don't something wrong with inserting it into my pc?

Please help im stressing haha

Does it appear there? Probably
If so, what options does it give you when you right click on it?

Probably 'Initialize'
Do that
Then, create a partition
Format
Give it a drive letter.

Hey there, @Nathan!

I'd definitely follow these suggestions, if I were you and make sure that the SSD is visible in Disk management in Windows. It should appear as 'Not Initialized' drive there. If it's still not present, try clicking on 'Rescan Disks' and see if it will appear then.

Afterwards you should simply follow the steps, @USAFRet mentioned:
1. Initialize your hard drive
2. Partition & Format it
