All in one liquid coolers are not an option for me as they are generally too small of loops and i need around a foot of tubing between the Reservoir and the CPU. Is this a good kit to buy and just get a few upgrade parts? i do want to get some extra tubing, a T fitting and a cap so i can make a drain port. Should i get a new pump res combo that is better as i've seen some repots that people complained about the pumps power. I would like the option to upgrade to cover a GPU block and possible take my CPU off and put two GPU blocks into water cooling with the two resorvoir and turn the other CPU water block onto a single 120mm rad, another quesiton would be would other components get too hot if i had no fans but the ones being used for water cooling?

Solution
If you are cooling CPU and GPU, you might need to consider another radiator...it all depends on the TDP of the CPU and GPU in the cooling loop. Use the watercooling TDP estimator linked in my signature line below to help you.

Another pump for...? If you're considering a larger loop than a CPU+GPU or something else, you are better off just building it from scratch that way now rather than trying to frankenstein something down the road.

This is the Swiftech and EK Predator testing/write ups that I did. These are both very good products, but I'd choose the EK over the Swiftech if you held a gun to my head. However, the EK starts around $200 vs. the $140 of the Swiftech...

1) FrozenCPU may or may not be actually doing business at this point in time. Legitimately or illegitimately, I do not know. I do know that many people paid for product long ago before they went out of business and were not given refunds or given their paid products.

2) For that money, you can get a Swiftech H220 expandable loop kit...this is about the only thing I recommend for under $150 these days.

3) Having more than one reservoir does nothing for cooling in a loop.

4) Expandable kits can be expanded as long as the tubing and fittings are correct for what is being built and the loop flow rate and pump head is able to move the loop coolant.

5) Yes, you still need case fans

1) Time will tell
2) I noticed that one but i would directly need buy tubing like a said custom pc case
3) The reservoirs wouldn't be connected i would probably just have one loop for CPU probabaly an all in one and the custom loop upfront for my GPU's.
4)I understand they are expandable i just wnated some feed back.
5)Will i have air problems if i don't have any other case fans but the reservoir fans in there?

1) This has been a question for a couple years
2) Not sure I follow what you are saying.
3) Not sure why you would have reservoirs that are not connected to anything?
4) No problem
5) You'll have thermal problems if you don't air cool all the other components. Watercooling only cools the components that have a block on them...everything else still relies on airflow to cool.

Recent searches suggests the owner is in prison i guess so yeah i guess i need to get off of FrozenCPU

2: i am building a custom case and most All in one coolers have too small of tubing to extend from front panel to my Motherboard

3: Seperate loops so i have two liquid cooling systems in my system one for GPU and one for CPU

5:Would passive air cooling be good or should i try to squeeze a fan in my front panel?

Swiftech H220 can easily swap out tubing.

Why not just have 1 loop for both? This is what I do.

You really need airflow, this isn't something you should consider skimping on or overlooking. Overheating of other critical components can also lead to PC failure.

I do like the design of the H220 and i do think that is what i am going for. Most sources i read said that a dual 120mm radiator is ideal for 2 components and don't want to make cooling worst by cooling. Would adding a second pump in the H220 farthre down the line be good?

I think i will add in a third fan in the front and try to get more cold air to move through

Alright thank you, quick question for the Switfttech if i were to go for it is the Prestige version better?

Be better than what? The fans that come with either unit are good. The Prestige unit fans are just a bit better. If you're going to spend that kind of money by purchasing extra fans, use it to buy the EK Predator instead. The radiator will handle more load.

Looking at your review it seems i can't have the radiator on it side unless all i need to do is put the pump on the bottom and have the tubes run along the wall of my case. But yeah thank you i think i will go with EKWB Predator its seems really nice.
