Hi,

I just lost my existing Win10 OS after I installed Win server on newly installed 2nd HDD. Let me explain the scenario in detail:

My old OS was Win 10 on the existing HDD. I added a new Disk, mounted the Server 2012 ISO in Virtual drive and ran setup while I was logged into Win10. I specified a partition on the 2nd Disk which had Win7 installed. After the setup completed, my system rebooted and I was hoping to see a dual boot screen. However, now it directly boots into Server 2012 and I do not see a dual boot screen.
PS: Old OS=Win10 on Disk1
New OS= Server 2012 on Disk2.

When I open MS config on Disk 2, I can only see Win7 info which was previously installed on Disk 2 before Server 2012 and do not see Win10 there. I am wondering if the MBR for both Win10 & Server 2012 would be on Disk 1 which has Win10 installed. But I want to have expert advise before trying anything stupid :p
