The Wi-Fi hotspot uses the 802.11 a / b / g / n standard. Windows 10 does not currently support Wi-Fi hotspot functionality.

It means that I will not be able to use the wi fi of this motherboard in windows 10 and I also wanted to know if I will be able to use wi fi in windows 7

In my experience if it says it works with Windows 7 it's worked for me in 10 the only time I had a problem was with a USB Wi-Fi dongle which I solved by running the program in Compatibility mode for Windows 7 and runs fine on 10 some posts suggest that when I installed the software it was running in Windows 8 mode which just wouldn't work for me after I ran it in Compatibility mode for Windows 7 it worked fine.

What I would suggest is if you have Windows 7 already and you looking to upgrade make a backup before the upgrade and try 10 al least than you can go back. If it's a new machine your planning on building try 10 as you can download it free without a key to test it if not you can install 7.

Alternatively to just "trying it to see if it works" You could purchase a different board (Assuming you have not bought this one already) If not you stuck with it dude so try try what I mentioned above.

I found the post confusing as if you thought a hotspot was what you needed to run wifi at all, which is not the case. To use wifi to connect to a wireless router & the internet - you will have no issues.

To create a wifi hotspot, so others can connect wirelessly to your pc - you have more work to do and there are already several guides on how to do that on the net. yes it can be done.

i have the same issuesm the software ai suit 3 , the wifi engine , dont let my create a hotspot , only let me the program to connect to other device , ejm, to a router etc, but i want to create my won hotspot trought y mther board, beacus the wifi is AC-
an i have my nanostation m2 in client mode, and connected to my pc via network cable , and i want to sahre my wifi to my cell by my computer, some cant help me please!
