I bought a rx 480 so i had to use hdmi. And my monitor is Samsung SA350. My monitor stay dark till password screen, so i can't look at bios. Don't know why but it acts like that since i am using hdmi. I only used vga since last month. Now i am using hdmi and encounter with this problem.

I play witcher 3 and h1z1 which i can't see anything in shadow. Shadow'ed areas are just undetailed black areas. Same as bright ones. Also I notice two things: in witcher 3 i can see cutscenes perfectly fine, brightness /darkness is just amazing at these. This only occurs in gameplay. And in h1z1, after few minutes it just all together gets darker. So i don't have problems with videos(such as witchers cutscenes) but ingame, and rendering? i have problems. I don't have much knowledge about this. If someone can help i will be glad as i have this problem since 3 months. Couldn't fix it since then.

I found a few threads on the AMD forums with similar problems:

Looks like I was wrong about pixel format, they changed it after the Catalyst drivers. But all these people are having the same problem, their pixel options tab isn't available and they have issues with the color and contrast. Many trying to run 4k, but also people at 1080p. Updated drivers seem to have have fixed it for some, and others have tried using adapters to use a different input/output. AMD says it's a known issue.

I just checked it and my monitor has that setting but i can't click on it , its dark and can't be selected. Also in amd settings i couldn't find anything like that, but i found this:

Digital Flat Panel . Display Name SA300/SA350. Maximum reported resolution: 640x480. Also this panel doesn't have color settings. Dunno if these are related.

Yea i tried that but my problem is that i don't have a "pixel options" tab as it suppose to be. My radeon additional settings doesn't have that at all. I don't know if my rx 480 card is faulty or my monitor.

I couldnt see any settings for that? Btw i have a more serious problem right now :). I changed my resolution from 1900 to 1024. To see if that would open new settings, after that i return to 1900 resolution and now my screen is both Blurry and Vibrating constantly. Lol.. I changed the resolution to one lower (1600) and its a bit blurry but its not that bad and its not shaking like crazy so. I don't know what happened there. My drivers are also up to date.

Edit: oh that scared me i changed refresh rate when it was vibrating, it was set to 29 dunno why. Its back again. No problem here:). But still i can't find any setting for ycbcr that you mentioned.
