CAn't run PC with ram in.

Having issues keeping my PC on. Runs for about 10 seconds then shuts off expect when I take the ram out then it stays on. I have tried other ram sticks and the same thing happens. I reinstalled my OS and I thought i had fixed it because it seemed to be running normally after I did that, then I tried starting up Diablo 3 and it shut off and started doing that 10 second boot time again. Iv'e reset the CMOS and nothing. Do you think I need to get a new PSU or motherboard? both were kinda cheap. Just want to know what you guys think. Thanks!

- AMD FX-8350 Black Edition

- CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W 80 PLUS BRONZE
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060

Try resetting the CMOS then install a single stick (slot 1 next to CPU), if it boots to BIOS raise the DRAM voltage + 0.05, save exit and shutdown, then try the second stick in slot 3. If problems persist let us know the model of the DRAM

Hey sorry for the late reply but that did work for a while until today, it started doing the same thing again.

and the model of DRAM I have is F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR, DDR3-1866 CL9-10-9-28 1.50v PC3-14900 4Gx2 Intel Ready

#1) I would not recommend using or installing the OS with the default SATA setting.
Options: Native IDE (Default) / RAID / AHCI / Legacy IDE

AHCI should be used.

#2) Memory Clock Mode

Enable XMP.

#3) Raising DRAM voltage should not be necessary.

Well I currently can't even get the computer to stay on long enough to get in the bios, and I have manged to increase the Dram voltage and it worked for about a month and only within the last few days it has been shutting off after 10 seconds

is the computer constently rebooting or is the psu shutting back off and on? bad ram would not cause the psu to cut off and on.

it just starts up and i try to get into the bios and turns back off, and it runs without any ram in.
