Screen goes blank shortly after loading windows desktop

I have a Gtx 970 4gb strix and I have been using it for the past 4 months and played alot of games. But when i started this game, Snow. My screen went black immediately. So i restarted my pc and windows logo pops up i type my password but after that it goes black.
I switched to my old gpu gtx 650ti and it is working perfectly. So the problem must be the gpu.
It has nothing to do with the PSU because i recently bought a new one so i can use this gpu.

My specs:
Corsair rm650
12gb ram
i5-3570K 3.40ghz
Gtx 970 4gb strix

ok thats weird this method worked for me.
do you have both gpu's attached to you're pc in this case it might cause problems with the gpu try taking the old one if that doesent work just reinstall windows without deleting you're files this time with the new gpu attached it should work properly after that:)

not enough details does the game let you have any sort of interaction like voices and sounds if so then there might be some driver issues in this uninstall and reinstall the driver without the automatic driver updaters

The game didn't let me do anything it just blacked out immediately. How do i uninstall and reinstall the driver if my screen goes black after windows loading. And i can't start it on safe mode because it blacks out after 5 sec.

try to boot to the menu usually by clicking f8. escape or f3 the moment the pc starts loading if you get an image you should get out and try to load windows the normal way it shouls work that way
