Updated Sound driver, now no sound

I've recently updated my headphone drivers, at least thats what i think i updated, now i'm not too good with pc's so you can call me a noob, but what happened is now I can't see the headphones in my playback devices, and the speakers don't work either. I don't know what to do tried different methods, I tried restoring my pc but i keep getting an error which says there was a problem opening some file in C drive

Can you start by listing your PC specs? Your motherboard model number (or exact PC model if you bought it already assembled) is definitely necessary. Please include your OS version as well.

Also, what you updated exactly ('headphone drivers') could be helpful.
