Would a GTX 1050 be compatible with my GTX 760? Also, is it worth it for gaming?

My computer is a beast. Three years ago. Would adding a GTX 1050 to my current setup with a GTX 760 and i5-4670 with 16gb of DDR3-1600 memory be work and be worth it?

The GTX1050 and GTX760 cannot work together in gaming. You're better off just upgrading and replacing your 760 with the strongest video card you can afford. Something like a RX470, 480, or 1060 would be a huge upgrade.
