PC specs below
So when I tried to power on my computer the fans would spin every thing including leds on mouse would work but PC would not boot. I have 16GBs of DDR3 (Crucial Ballistx) ram dual channle at like 2400Mhz(I think)
I have built my PC and has been working for over now 7 months no problems so I tried taking out my ram and tried different slots to see if it was the ram but it wasn't. Tried different dims, used one stick at a time, then 2 in at a time (I put them all in the correct slots, it's color coded) and it worked. But whenever I would try using all dim banks at once it would not work, having all sticks in there (4GBs ea.) It would boot with 8gbs fine, 4gbs fine , but not all dim banks at the same time idk it's weird, I can to this conclusion through trial and error, and proccess of elnimation and the internet.
I don't know what the problem is, I would highly appreciate any insight and thoughts my build is a i5 4460 @3.20 gas GeForce gtx 970 4(3.5) gbs and a Asus B85M-G R2.0 Mobo, 16GB ddr3 crucial ballistic.
