So does Intel plan to fix their substrate in future CPU's? 6600K Bent.

Managed to slightly bend my 6600K by over tightning the screws on the CM 212 Evo. Does Intel plan to have a thicker substraits for cannon, kaby or icelake? Looking online the corners of the motherboardf has a 0.4mm height offset compared to the middle of the die. Thankfully the CPU still posts. I really hope Intel addresses this issue.

Intel Kaby Lake is rumoured to be a bit more sturdy in this respect, but we will have to wait and see. Would be less stress with adding your own cooler to a K model CPU.

Wouldn't worry about half a milimetre. Should be fine for a couple of years until Intel Ice/Tiger Lake or Zen+ give you something worth upgrading to.
