Hi everyone,
I'm having issues with connecting my router to a modem using a pre-existing network cable.
I did manage to connect the two using shorter cables included in the boxes.
However, when I try connecting them using the pre-existing network cable, it simply does not connect.
Can I safely rule out that the cable is the issue? Or are there other factors that may be causing the problem?
The reason I need to use the pre-existing cable is because it's connected to the upper level (where my office space is) and wi-fi signals are weak there.
Any help regarding this is highly appreciated!
