Will my PCIe 3.0 GTX 1050 Work IN MY PCIe 1.0 slot?

Solution
You can install the PCIe 3.0 GPU (GTX 1050) into your PCIe 1.0 port, it is backwards compatible and there is contriversy on whether or not you lose performance with an older version of PCIe, there probably is, but not noticeable (I Run a GTX 970 on a PCIe 2.0, and it runs similar/better than most GTX 970s - So the performance loss is minimal and doesn't really affect anything)

So yeah, nothing to worry about, shove that card in there and enjoy the new card :)
