Solution
ASRock Z97 Extreme9
ASRock Z97 Extreme6

Both have a 12 Phase CPU VRM and an M.2 PCIE Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) socket.

Most other Z97 motherboards that have an M.2 socket are only PCIE Gen2 x2 (10Gb/s).
What do you have now?
cpu
gpu
motherboard
psu?

What are you trying to accomplish?

For example, sli is often not a good upgrade option.
You will win synthetic fps benchmarks, but there are some issues.
Some games do not support dual gpu.
You will be prone to stuttering and screen tearing.
Usually a single strong graphics card will play better.

m.2 is a size format.
By itself, it offers no advantages except size over a conventional 2.5" ssd.
If you are looking for m.2 pcie X 4 attachment, you will get faster sequential operations.

If you want to overclock, how close to the max do you need to get?
Most Z97 motherboards will respond well to any conservative overclock that your cpu chip will allow.

The ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer is a great motherboard for overclocking and has all the features you required above. Up to 4-way SLI support, M.2 socket, and a few extra gaming features you find on higher-end ROG boards. Excerpt from overclockers.com review on the board:

"The Z97-Pro Gamer has everything you need as the basis for a very nice gaming rig. We like the fact a couple PCI slots are available for anyone having older equipment they want to carry over to a new system. Having the Intel LAN controller is a nice value add because a lot of motherboards in this class use a lesser solution. Couple that with the same SupremeFX audio found on high-end ROG motherboards, and you can see ASUS put as much as possible into this offering given the price point constraints. It’s a pretty easy call this time around… Overclockers approved!"

Motherboard: Asus Z97 PRO GAMER ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($150.91 @ Newegg)
Total: $150.91
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Edit: Just saw you were in the UK, you can find this board HERE on Amazon for £120.

Just had a quick look and the only places i can see selling the Gaming 9 are Amazon and Ebay so it might not be the best option anymore. My mistake.
