GTX 1050TI BROKEN! burn smell!

Hello, I just bought GTX 1050 TI Palit, and I installed it, and all drivers it needed. Computer was running for 4 hours~. I was playing GTA 5 to see how good it can run, and then played Farming simulator 17. After playing for 30 minutes of farming, I felt burn smell! And screen went black, and again showed display, and again went black. And showed NO signal detected.
GPU is BRAND NEW I got it 4hours ago! :/
What to do know... :/

Take it out and smell it. If something burned up it should be obvious as the odor should be strong. If it is indeed the GPU, then return it as defective.

It's probably the GTX 1050 Galaxy 7 Edition...

apart from the joke doesn't your warranty cover it?

Talk to the place you brought it from, RMA it. No drama, it's an 'early life failure' electronics nearly always fail immediately or after a very long time, very little in between.

I took it out, and it smells a little bit like burned for sure, But can it be that my Mobo pci-e slot burnt ?

PSU cant be burnt, because I'm using same computer now, with Integrated graphics :/

It is almost certainly the GPU. If you could get inside it you would probably see physical evidence of burning but I wouldn't try as it would possibly void the warranty. I would exchange it and see if the new one works.

GPU fans is spinning, or it doesn't matter ? :/

I don't think that matters, the parts that run the fan might be fine but the parts that run the display could be fried.

You may be surprised, just be honest with what happened and they should be accommodating. You had it working so you obviously installed it correctly.

That is one of the nice things about these cards, they have low power requirements and don't need extra power connections.

Yes, it's really good that with every new gtx series, power consumption isn't getting higher, but performance increases.

Question:
Before gtx 1050ti. About my old gtx 460. Monitor randomly lost its connection to my GPU (DVI-D)(gtx 460), yet the PC was still functioning. I opened up my case to find that the card fans spinning, no output. The onboard graphics still work, however. ( It was baked 1 year ago, because of artifacts). GTX 460 lasted for 3years+1year baked. So I bought new card.
Now, about gtx 1050ti I installed it, it worked fine, but after few hours it, fried, with smell.(burnt). And for sure it lost connection to my monitor.(Fans spinning) So my question is: could it be that something is wrong with my setup ? Or I'm just that lucky to get bad chip on new card ? :/

Sorry for this question, but I need to be sure, that I won't burn my new gpu... :/

My setup: i3-2130; Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2, H61; PSU OCZ StealthXStream 2 500W.
