I've got a Toshiba S55t-B5150 and I'm looking to upgrade the SSD from 250 to 500 or maybe even 1 TB. I'm wondering if I should stick with the mSATA form factor or just put a 2.5" drive in there. Any advantage to that? What else would I need to put the 2.5 in that space?

Thanks.

Since it will still go through the sata port, then just get a 2.5 SATA SSD. There's no benefit in using any mSATA drive that way, unless that for some reason it's cheaper. Besides, you'll find faster 2.5 drives than what exists for mSATA.
