Hey guys! I recently built a PC and so far its ran pretty well! Recently while playing pc games, i have had some random pauses that last around 3 seconds. At first i thought it was lag through my internet, but i then noticed it happening in single player offline. I am worried my CPU may not be working well with my motherboard. I play a lot of simulators in multiplayer, so pausing for three seconds at high rates of speeds often don't end well for folks behind me. Do you have any tips for testing out my components to see if they work well together?

I have tried some tweaks already without any luck:
- Switched power mode from energy saving to high performance
- Switched to "performance" mode in the BIOS
- Used gaming OC on graphics card via ASUS GPU tweaker software

I have:

Motherboard: ASUS 970 Pro Gaming
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
CPU Cooler: Stock (just picked up a Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 thinking my CPU was getting hot)
Memory: 32GB Corsair Vengeance
Graphics: ASUS GTX1060 Strix 6GB

Thanks for the help guys!
