So I'm switching from an amd fx 8350 with an Asrock 970 extreme4 to an i5 6500 with a Asrock z170 pro4/d3 and I'm on Windows 10.

I know how to put a new cpu in and Mobo but I don't know if I need to back anything up and do I get Windows 10 again?

A step by step tutorial would be nice.

Solution
1. You need windows 10 anniversary update and link your windows license to your microsoft account.
(You can verify it in Settings/Update&Security/Activation - it should say that windows is activated with license linked to your microsoft account)
2. You will need to reinstall windows on your new computer.
3. You will need a new partition for your new windows - you can shrink existing partition to create space for new one, 70GB for windows 10 would be minimum. If less, you'll run into trouble later
4. Prepare drivers for your new hardware (use cd/dvd if you have optical drive or use USB flash drive)
5. Do preparation tasks mentioned above, assemble your new computer and proceed to installation of windows.
6. After windows is installed...

That's about it. Dont forget to install drivers you prepared earlier.
