hi, some week ago i was build a new pc with 6600k, z170x gaming 3 and 2 x 4 gb ram kingston 2400Mhz

but i was so stupid and bent some pins on the motherboard, i send to my reseller and they fix all the pins and was works perfectly (all dimms or ram combination working with bent pins fixed)

Some days later i tried to delid the cpu, but it was pretty hard and i've left that, when i mount the cpu again, the pc not boot, ive check the pins and boot again, but this time, the 2 first slot of the board wasnt working, i assumed i've **** up the motherboard, trying to straight the pins i've broken 2 head of the pins, the motherboard no post again

some week later i buy a new motherboard, asus z170 pro gaming aura, and i have the exact same problem on my previus gigabyte board, first 2 sloot ram not post, but 2 last working, this motherboard no have any bent pins this time

A1 + A2 not work in any combination, i get cpu led or dram led when i put them in thoses first slot
B1 + B2 work with no problem.

i already trying with 1 stick of ram on every slot, and its the same problem, only 2 last slot working
what you thinks guy? i damage my CPU?, already do the intel diagnostic test and the processor "pass" every test.

sorry for my english xD

Delidding is risky business, if you bent pins on motherboard who's to say you didn't damage something during delid attempt?

Sometimes people damage the cpu and it still works for a few weeks or months but it dies soon.

Not sure how far into it you got but hopefully it's not damaged because I doubt they'd replace it.
