So as the title says im building a video editing machine, mostly for 1080p but in the near future propably will do and some 4K. My dilemma is, do i go with corsair dominator platinum 16 gig CAS 10 or the Kingston fury 32 gig with CAS 14? Both are 2133 mhz and the price difference is only $25..is CAS so important in video editing?

Low CAS is better, but it's highly unlikely that you'll spot the difference. I'd put the $25 towards an SSD scratch drive instead.

Go ahead and pick up the corsair, check the spec details on the page, tradesman is right about the CL.
However corsair has a better ram and price tag for it.
