TEMPERATURE NEED HELP! i just hit my 4.2ghz oc'd i5-4690k at 100c using prime95 ffts test did i just break it?

Make sure you're using the correct version of Prime95. You want v26.6, not any version later than that. Later versions will not give proper testing and can result in temps like what you're seeing.

based on this intel temp article - so i understand it now what i just hit was the tjmax temp of the i5-4690k meaning it was the temp that the cpu will maintain throttling down to not break so if it was a car it was the red line and the 100c was the limiter intel created and if it does reach 105c to the core the pc will shut down to prevent the cpu from breaking thanks man please correct me if i understood it wrong
