hi, im upgrading my gpu and im wondering which would be a better bang for the buck a evga gtx 1060 ftw or a evga gtx 1070 sc, the 1060 has a higher base and boost clock but the 1070 has far more cuda cores and a bit more vram, currently have a evga gtx 660 sc so either would be better, also i only play in 1080p if thats a concern, thanks very much

The GeForce GTX 1060 has a better performance per dollar (i.e. "better bang for the buck") than the GeForce GTX 1070.

In your case it would depend on which games you play and your target fps. If you have a 100hz plus monitor then I'd say go for the 1070. It's the stronger card all around. But If you have a standard monitor then a lot of it's power goes to waste, in which case the 1060 would be the best bang for buck.
