Hi guys, I've currently made a pc build, but unfortunately it's a bit over my budget. My budget is 1400 NZD. Could you guys please change the build a bit? Or even better, just make an entirely new build within my budget! I would prefer it to have the white s340 case and if possible a white theme.

Thanks!! c:

Just a quick tip. Having over the edge motherboards normally won't improve performance and the extra features it comes with you might never use. Also I don't think you will need a 650w power surpply unless your going to upgrade with loads of new things. A 450w will do you fine and saves you a few bucks. I'll also go with a cheaper CPU because it is basically the graphics card that matters now. Something like the 4690 will do to fine in performance.

You're looking at New Zealand prices. What he's selected are normal parts not over top edge model ones.

It's a solid build. Everything is compatible and component selection is pretty good.

Swapped down to a 6500 as I don't believe the .1GHz clock speed to be worth it. Swapped to a mATX B150 board because the 1060 doesn't support SLI anyways. Swapped down to a cheaper (but still stable) power supply. Not stable for good overclocking; but that's not an object with this build. Swapped the EVO for a Trion. Fairly close to 1500, the only thing I could think of at this point without compromising the integrity of the build would be to scrap the SSD or move to an i3, which is entirely possible.

Which actually hits your budget square on the nose. So there is that to consider. (Either option will, either taking out the boot drive or dropping to an i3 will drop your budget down to 1400)

So it's really up to:
1) Is your budget rigid?
1A) If yes: Which do you care about more? The boot times from the SSD or the horsepower from the i5?
1B) If no: How flexible is your budget? How much are you willing to overshoot for your build?

I reckon that I can stretch my budget to maximum 1600, so do you think my current build is fine?

I might still go with the first one posted, as there isn't really a reason to get even an h170 with the 6500/6600. A lower priced mATX motherboard will have everything you want on it given that you cannot SLI a 1060, and likely won't be overclocking the 6500. If you want to stretch it to 1600, you could take the first build I posted and throw in 16GB of RAM in lieu of 8, that should get you up close to $1600. The parts I picked were worse than the ones you picked, but they are cheaper and they still do 100% of what you want the machine to do without compromising the build. The PSU is stable for non-overclocking builds, which yours is and it has the wattage to support it, the motherboard has all required slots, you could if you wanted to jump back up to a 6600. It's more of a personal thought that the extra .1GHz clock speed isn't worth the money. That's an expensive 100MHz. Swapped the Trion in simply because it's still a nice SSD and it was cheaper than the EVO, which in SSD land is $$$.

If none of that matters to you; Yes your current build is fine.
