Is this a good gaming pc build?

Solution

A top end SSD is not necessary in this price range, money better spent on other components.
Also go for the 6500 over the 6600.
Now I know the Trion 100 isn't a great SSD, but at that price for 240GB of fast storage i'd go for it any day.

It's solid, but I've heard that Battlefield 1 been struggling with core i5 series. but your other components are very good, if you can get i7 like 6700k it'll be a fantastic built.

Try this one, if you can find something such as an EVGA Supernova 550W PSU, swap the current one out for that, never cheap out on the PSU, it is probably, the most essential piece of your build.

Fair enough, I was more or less creating it if he ever wanted to upgrade anything and wanted a great SSD if he wanted to hop over to a high-end build, but some nice builds there, +1 to them :)

Cheers. :p
SSD prices are kinda crazy in Aus, stuff like the SP550 240GB comes in at $99 and the 850 Evo is $120.
Its 850 Evo or bust generally, first decent deal i've seen in a while so I thought i'd jump on it!
In future by the way, some good cases to look out for are the Zalman Z3 Plus, and the Corsair SPEC-01. The Z3 Plus functionally is imo hands down the best case you're going to find within its price range, and the SPEC-01 is good looking and typically cheap.
