Is my motherboard faulty?

Hey all. I have an issue with my motherboard and I have tried everything I can think of yet I have not resolved it. My components are as follows:
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard
Intel i5 6600k
Corsair CX600 PSU
MSI GTX 1060 6GB GPU
Kingston HyperX DDR4 Ram

I have a powering issue with my motherboard which requires me to leave the PC on 24/7 and I have spoken to Asus about this. The PC runs perfectly fine its just that when I turn it off I can not turn it back on unless I unplug the displayport cables or the 24pin atx and reinsert it. My monitors go to sleep after a few minutes of no interaction and they wake up again when I move the mouse a little. The PC has been running perfectly fine for about three weeks. However a few days ago when I got home from college my PC was frozen and the monitors would not wake up and my keyboard LEDs were also frozen. I force shut off the PC and when I turned it back on I noticed that after the PC cycled through the 4 LED's on the mobo for CPU, DRAM, VGA, and BOOT DEVICE it stayed solid red on the BOOT_DEVICE_LED and also there was no video output to either monitor but my monitor did wake up but just displayed "display port: no signal". I figured this had something to do with my SSD since that is by boot drive so I unplugged that yet that did not change anything. So I took the motherboard out of the case and only hooked up the RAM, CPU, and GPU. I've tried everything I could think of yet none of these have worked. I am not able to get into the BIOS whatsoever so I am not able to make any changes to speeds of any of the components. These are the things I've tried:

- Removing one stick of RAM (No difference when booting - no video output, monitor wakes up and displays that there is no signal then shuts off, no beeps, solid red Boot Device LED)
- Removing the GPU and hooking up one of the cables to the display port on the motherboard( No difference when booting - no video output, monitor did not wake up and display that there is no signal, no beeps, solid LED)
- Resitting the GPU and RAM (No difference when booting)
- Resetting CMOS and BIOS by taking out the CMOS battery for a few minutes and also jumping the two pins to reset Bios (No difference except that the PC shuts off after a few seconds and requires another jump start)

I can no longer return it to Amazon since it's been more than 30 days so is my only option to buy a new board? Are there any other tests I could do? Any help is appreciated, thanks - Mario
