I'll get right to it. Yes, I've seen loads of these all over the place, but I honest to god cant find a solution. Basically the Nvidia control panel won't open anymore, it used to work just fine, now I cant find it in the tasks Tray, and if I search and try to open it the only message I get is that I'm not currently using a display attached to an Nvidia Gpu. I'll take any suggestions at this point, it's driving me insane.

what I have:
Acer Aspire v15 V5-591g-56AS (A laptop in case it matters)
cpu: Intel core i5-6300HQ 2.3ghz
IG: Intel HD Graphics 530
gpu: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M

If any more information is needed by all means, let me know

The drivers were pre-installed as far as I know, I can assure you that I haven't messed with the drivers since I got it. Geforce experience says its drivers are up to date with the 369.09 driver

Im wanting to try that, but I'm not sure which one is the video driver out of the options I see, if someone doesnt mind looking through them here's the SNID: NXG5WAA0036070A1577600. There are 2 VGA drivers one from Nvidia and one from intel, Im assuming its one of those, leaning towards the nvidia one for obvious reasons

You are my hero, although I will note that the driver is actually an older version, Personally I'm not sure how to proceed in the event that the programs start asking for updates, but I'll be sure to remember this as a solution option should it happen again. Thanks again for your help :)
